About the name
The inspiration for the name came from TV. TV announcers often use the phrase “all of baseball” instead of “major leagues,” as in “Glunk leads all of baseball with a .356 average.”
Of course there is a lot more to baseball than just the major leagues. And my guess is that somewhere someone is carrying a batting average better than Glunk’s impressive .356. I hope to write about some of the other areas of the great game besides the major leagues.
